Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of The Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Will went on his first mission trip to the Dominican Republic before his senior year of high school in 1998. Seeds were planted. Audrey went on her first misison trip to the Dominican Republic after her senior year of college in 2004. Seeds were planted.
Brook Brotzman, The President of G.O. Ministries approached Will and asked him if he would be interested in moving to the Dominican Republic to start sports ministry through G.O. Will and Audrey were only dating at the time. We prayed, talked, thought, seeked advice and prayed some more.
We answered the call, got engaged in February of 2005, married in July of 2005, packed up our belongings, stepped out on blind faith and moved in September of 2005. What a whirlwind it was!!
We live full-time in the Dominican and feel at total peace. God has us right where He wants us for the time being. Ministry is fruitful and we praise God for that!
We never imagined that this is what our lives would look like. God truly did "pick us up and move us". When we reflect on that event, we are so grateful to Him because He knew exactly where we needed to be for the sake of our marriage, our personal spiritual growth and for the sake of The Kingdom.
After being in the Dominican for 9 years now, we understand what God's purpose for our ministry is, and to Him we are grateful! We seek to follow Him and love Him more everyday. He has led us to become missionaries together in the Dominican Republic and we pray that He continues to be glorified through the work that He is doing through us.
We love being together, laughing together and doing ministry together. God gave us to one another for this life-time and to Him we are grateful!
